The alter egos of top-selling folk artist Doozer McDooze and Fraggle from Back to the Planet, The Essex Folk Federation of Fraggle Fletcher (EFF OFF) play "Traditional Essex Folk Music", mostly about booze and boy racers and tea and wee.
This is the recording that Sneaky Clegg secretly did at our 1st ever gig, which we only played to stop Les "Fruitbat" Carter from having to do his 1st solo gig in 30 years.
The funds for this "pay what you want" download will go towards replacing Fraggle's guitars that were so rudely nicked out of the back of his van last week.
And they even nicked the EFF OFF song books, the bleeders.
Many of these traditional Essex folk songs were originally performed in the 18th century by the Essex Lute Madrigal Combo "Involuntary Shudder", others are accredited to Essex folk quartet The Ramones, Essex penny whistle duo The Buggles, and actual Essex folk musician Billy Bragg.
We'll let you figure out which is which.
